New for 2010, the "Bubbles and Berries" package provides a romantic welcome with a local flare. The package includes a bottle of the delicious Scintilla sparkling wine from Veritas Vineyard and two champagne flutes. You'll also receive a delectible platter with chocolate dipped strawberries and assorted chocolates from Gearharts Fine Chocolates. Known as the Napa Valley of the east coast, Central Virginia is blessed with many beautiful wineries. But they can be so darned hard to find. Let us help plan your winery tour, complete with a pre-programmed GPS Navigator that you take along in your car. We’ll also provide you a bottle of Virginia wine and two Dinsmore House wineglasses to commemorate your trip. This package includes 2 nights at the Dinsmore House Inn, a full breakfast each morning, and our afternoon wine social. Summer Culinary Getaway
The Dinsmore House is proud to partner with The Seasonal Cook gourmet shop to offer our summer culinary series. This package includes a one-night stay at the Dinsmore House Inn, afternoon wine social, a cooking class for two at the Seasonal Cook and a full breakfast the next morning. The Seasonal Cook classes feature accomplished local chefs who demonstrate the preparation of a three-course meal, then serve the meal to the class, accompanied with paired local wines. Free transportation to and from the class is available. $289 King, $259 Queen. Availability is limited, call for details.
Stay n’ Play Golf Package
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge mountains and the challenge of Virginia’s rolling terrain as you tee it up for two rounds at the area’s newest and most beautiful courses. Play a round at Spring Creek and one at Old Trail. Dinsmore House guests receive discounted greens fees, advanced tee times, a yardage book and complimentary range balls. This package includes 2 nights at the Dinsmore House Inn, a full breakfast each morning, and our afternoon wine social. Prices vary by season.
Romance Package
Only have one night to stay? Enjoy it in style with a bottle of Virginia wine, fruit and cheese platter and one dozen roses in your room for an additional $69. Also includes two Dinsmore House souvenir wineglasses.
Girls Getaway
When some “Just the Gals” time is needed, the Dinsmore House is the perfect location. Located within a mile of hundreds of restaurants, galleries, shops and spas, there’s no better home base for your getaway. Upon check-in you’ll receive a gift basket with wine, specialties bath products, gourmet chocolates, bottled water and two Dinsmore House wine glasses. There’ll even be a stack of some classic chick flick DVDs waiting by the TV. This package includes 2 nights at the Dinsmore House Inn, a full breakfast each morning, and our afternoon wine social.
